"Moon Signs - The Key to Your Inner Life" by Donna Cunningham is an excellent book, probably the best one written on how the natal moon affects us.

"...he became curious about what made marriages work, so he designed a research study with the charts of 483 married couples. He found that those who got married and stayed married had one of three major chart contacts:

1. Moon standing next to Sun of other, in same sign and close to same degree.

2. Moons of the couple standing together.

3. Moon standing on other person's ascendant."
